Llumo's licence costs $0 and there's no credit card at sign-up, because you bring your own API keys and pay the AI providers directly for the calls. Their site calls it unlimited and gives an example of 150 prompts running daily across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot.
Cituna
Cituna gives you a 3-day free trial, though you'll need a card to start it. It covers 1 brand and 5 buyer prompts across all 7 engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode), with the top 3 prompts tracked daily during those 3 days.
Peekl
Peekl is a one-off visibility check built for local businesses. You put in your business and city, do a quick sign-in with no card, and it runs 12 customer questions once on either ChatGPT or Gemini. You get one check per business, and the results come back in a few minutes.
Ahrefs AI visibility checker
Ahrefs runs a free checker with no signup, no credit card, and no cap on how many brands you run through it. Results show up in seconds for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews, but it's a one-time check and a limited preview showing the top 5 results per section.
Semrush AI search visibility checker
With Semrush's checker, you drop in a domain and get a one-off check across ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. You don't need an account to run it, and the page lets you do up to 3 checks a day.
SE Ranking AI visibility checker
SE Ranking's checker compares your domain against up to 5 competitors in a single check across Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini. You get 5 checks a day, and it doesn't track daily. Their page doesn't state whether you have to sign up.
Rank.ai AI visibility checker
Rank.ai lets you ask one buyer question per check without signing up. In about a minute, it shows ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini side by side so you can see whether each answer names your domain or cites your site. It's a one-off check rather than a daily tracker.
Google Search Console
Search Console is free once you verify that you own the site. It doesn't break out AI answers on their own, though: clicks from Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode are folded into your overall search traffic in the Performance report under the Web search type.
Otterly.AI free GEO tools
Otterly.AI puts five one-off tools on its free page: a query fan-out simulator, a prompt calculator, prompt research, a GEO content audit that scores any URL, and an AI crawlability check for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and more. None of them track daily - Otterly's paid tracking starts at $29 a month.
How we checked
We checked every tool's own page on October 23, 2026, from a connection in the United States, and wrote down only what each page stated at that time. Whenever a page didn't mention a limit, engine list or sign-up requirement, we put "not stated" in the table rather than guessing. Does Google Search Console show when AI Overviews name my brand?
No. Google Search Console includes clicks from Google AI Overviews and AI Mode inside your overall search traffic in the Performance report (under the Web search type), so you only see traffic rolled into Web search after someone clicks a link, not whether an answer named you.
